Meet The Family
Kevin Healy
Owner
Kevin Healy is the owner of HOUSEpitality Family, a restaurant group that is the outcome of his 30-year career as an independent restaurant owner which started with Sundays, now The Boathouse at Sunday Park, back in 1988. In that span of time, Healy has seen the restaurant group grow from one location and concept to six locations and multiple concepts, with projects that include riverfront revitalization like The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing and collaborative community efforts like The Boathouse at City Point. Leading a team that has a unique level of retention for what is known to be a high turnover industry, Healy promotes playing nice and treating everyone with respect, two things that are large contributors to the positive culture that exists within HOUSEpitality Family. Healy's favorite part of HOUSEpitality Family? No question, it's celebrating life with guests – both the team members that he considers internal guests, and the external guests - as they experience life's special moments. When he's not thinking about what's next, Healy enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
Paige Healy
Chief Creative Officer
Paige Healy is the Chief Creative Officer of HOUSEpitality Family, where she leads the creative vision behind the company's restaurants, brands, and guest experiences. Working across concept development, culinary storytelling, interior design, branding, marketing, and hospitality, she focuses on creating places that feel distinctive, memorable, and deeply connected to the people they serve.
Paige believes great restaurants are built around stories, not just menus. From developing new restaurant concepts and seasonal experiences to shaping the atmosphere, food presentation, photography, and guest journey, she works collaboratively with the company's culinary, operations, and marketing teams to ensure every detail supports a meaningful guest experience.
Her creative perspective has been shaped by an unconventional path that includes guiding expeditions in the Grand Canyon, studying culinary traditions in Southern Italy, and helping launch the outdoor dining concept Dinner in the Field. Those experiences reinforced her belief that hospitality is about creating genuine human connection and lasting memories around the table.
Today, Paige continues to help lead the next generation of HOUSEpitality Family as the company grows its collection of restaurants and experiences throughout Central Virginia. Whether developing a new concept or refining a longtime favorite, her goal remains the same: to create places where people come together to celebrate life's most meaningful moments—one bite at a time.

Robert Nelson
Corporate Chef
Chef Robert Nelson is HOUSEpitality Family's Corporate Chef and a longtime force behind some of Richmond's most memorable dining experiences. Since then, he's worn multiple hats in the company —helping grow both the food and the teams along the way.
Before returning home to Richmond, Robert cooked his way through Boston, Charleston, and Nantucket, sharpening his craft in acclaimed kitchens like Hamersley's Bistro, Clio, Magnolias, and The Boarding House. His cooking style is inspired by the cooks he worked with and the cultures of the cities worked in and traveled to over the years. He spent time eating and enjoying the culture in Guatemala, Italy, France, Spain, and Belize. These days, he brings a mix of creativity, integrity, and innovation to everything he does—whether it's building menus, mentoring chefs, or building the perfect bite.
When he's not in the kitchen, Robert is usually thinking about what's next to cook, chasing his love of fishing inspired by Euell Gibbons' Stalking the Blue-Eyed Scallop, gardening, and enjoying life with his family.
